Array i was told last night that i am the kind of girl i always wanted to be but thought i was unable to be: unknowingly beautiful, smart, witty, sweet, and can sing well.96. my music interests range between mindless self indulgence [a techno-screamo-rock band that i can't really explain, but that makes really great angry music. i once played tag in the rain at night in my underwear with two girl friends. however, my bff is a gay guy, who came out to his parents on accident, when they found the note he had written me almost a year before that telling me he was, because he wasn't sure if he would be able to say it.81. my best friend in highschool had the same name as me. i taught the best friend with the same name how to kiss on the a band bus trip.78. however, one of my other best friends, a 92 pound punk girl with black and red hair and a dress she had to climb into, and ears gaged to a size 0 got it with her boyfriend, who also had red and black hair, and dresses like a vagabond. and im glad. i mean, not that i wouldnt want to have my moms features, its just that, what with daddy living so far away, its nice to have his hair and eyes with me all the time, you know?73. im very awkard when i first meet someone.67. not because im gay, but because my friends are.63. im finally okay with that. im starting to think there arent 100 [un]interesting facts about me.58. im a packrat56. im obsessed with food, books, and magic.55. im too poor to be a wiccan.54. but im not sure about anything, and nothing seems to click with me. im not very opinionated.52. im in college on a full ride scholarship.51. the first time my dad actually said he was proud of me was in the senior pages in our year book. im shy. im terrible at off-the-cuff speaking, and new people make me nervous. im better since i got to college, and once i know you fairly well, ill tell you anything, but until then, im pretty sure i come off as a real wierdo at first. i hung it on my door, and i have actually had one of my friends ask one of my other friends if i am a lesbian. now granted, sometimes i do that, but its MY COFFEE POT, so im allowed to. last night, i was over in a friends dorm, watching movies and looking at pictures, when her boyfriend called me. ill let him in, im on the way back she said. i went back to my friends room, and when i went back to my room, plus two girls, one of the girls looked at me, and said i think your roommate and her boyfriend made up and we could here them Doing It. senior year, i made money selling duck tape purses, wallets, and checkbooks. when the last one died, my mom thought i was being overdramatic, and didn’t believe he was dying. i think we’re friends though. i mean, i made him a big lacy valentine, and he liked it. i thought of it the other night while i was falling asleep, but by morning i had forgotten it.9. i don’t think pap smears are as bad as they are made out to be.

I wasn’t optimistic heading into this game, but I thought the Eagles had a chance after closing the lead to 4 at halftime. Anyway…stuff I scribbled into my old Greek 101 notebook from school:15:44 in the 1st half:I got home a little late and as I turn on the tube to the game, the dreaded Mike Patrick is yammering away. Deron Washington!10:00BC is in the game despite cold shooting, down 18-16.8:30BC desperately needs a bucket…7:15…still could use a bucket any time now…5:45…this game is officially slipping away.5:36Marquez Haynes! Meanwhile, Al gets Oates back in the game to close out the half. This is one of those games where BC just doesn’t look like they belong on an ACC court. But hey, our guys get to go back to Boston after the game while the Tech players live in Blacksburg. Not much more I can take.9:50Washington throws down his biggest dunk in the game sending Patrick into a tizzy. Patrick follows that up with an utterly tasteless metaphor, comparing Washington to a ‘big storm’ as he flies down the lane.ESPN cuts to its 3rd shot of a Miami Heat player walking through the tunnel to their locker room. The Network is desperate to have this BC game over.

This will definitely help his confidence, maybe even make him a threat in the EPL.45:00 - It looks like Bellamy will be getting credit for the goal.47:00 - Gerrard with a free kick on goal. THe squaad seems to be just going through the paces right now.55:00 - Barca subs Motta on for Iniesta.57:00 - As mentioned in the comments earlier, Carragher is an absolute beast for Liverpool. But, Barbaro skies it over without any danger.64:00 - Messi has been proclaimed as the next Mardona but I have a feeling he might become the next Kerry Wood given his proclivity to injury.68:00 - That was a stupid mistake by Valdez picking up the back pass. This will be an all-out assault on Liverpool’s defense.86:00 - Dangerous series of free kick and corner but Liverpool comes out unscathed.87:00 - Deco nearly levels it with a free kick off the far post.

-ne Life is getting back to normal. And this is just in time for him to start school (for those who don’t know, school=daycare). You know where to find us!!!Fall is an odd time of year. College freshmen are nervously about to begin the most important 4 (or more) years of their lives. We have to decide how our home life will be with a 1 year old in the house. We have to decide what is important enough to remain a part of our lives and our son’s life. Even though we are almost ¾ of the way through the year, it feels as though it is starting all over.Starting over can be a very good thing. This is one of those many times when our life is examined and a new course is chosen. Gone is the aimless life lived without a plan.

Then again, Noosa Half Marathon is on Sunday so a light workout was in order. Toasty was flying, just like the old Microsoft screensaver What can I expect on Sunday. My Half Marathon PB is 94:03 (Mar 2005). GC Half this year was 97:29 after just a month back at training.

Most of the Psalms were written in Judea and Israel during a time when kings ruled the land. The Dead Sea Scrolls found at Qumran revealed that the Psalms were written before the Maccabean period, second century BC. Seventy three out of the one hundred and fifty Psalms had King David’s name on them. These men were also known to have written Psalms and or have them written in their name. Most Psalms were written as a reflection of the author’s spiritual well-being because they were personal prayers. Now, if one were to write a Psalm it would most likely speak of troubles with the author’s computer or perhaps their boss. If one is still craving for more of a poetic influence, many books have been written that simply take the Psalms, create rhythms and bring them to life by adding the lost rhetorical devices, for example, “A New Translation, The Singing Version, The Psalms”. The Psalms were written to be accompanied by instruments and percussion, and they still are, only with an electric guitar and a good bass. The ones most commonly used in today’s society are the praise and reflective psalms. For example, in the Psalm 55, King David talks for twenty-five verses about how much he wants God to destroy his enemies and of how much chaos he is in. The Psalms have lived for thousands of years on the lips of hundreds of thousands of people. The relevance of the Psalms will not die or wither away with time, because there is someone much greater giving it life.

So I was five minutes off schedule when I got to school. After talking briefly to my friends and g/f, I then proceeded to the band room, packed up the amps and equiptment and Mr Braye drove them half a block to the elementary school right beside us. Quite the sight) I came back to school, went to social and noticed I forgot my assignment, but that’s ok, half the class did. After lunch, went to band, where I continued to play really high notes, and make my face turn red for 45 minutes, the other ten minutes was cause I wasnt playing at the time.

There are lots of villas (detached houses) available to rent during the holiday (vacation) season which has its high point over 12 weeks and a lower season either side. The wider holiday season runs from Easter through to the end of October with some pick-up around Christmas. Many of the villas are holiday homes, but quite a few are occupied in the off-season by the owners and are therefore fully equipment homes. As an example of what is available take a look at:http://www.somethingspanish.co.uk/holidayrentals/details.php?id=55which is a 3 bedroom villa (sleeps 6) with private pool and its own tennis court about 2 Kms (1.5 miles) from the beach.

Over the weekend, Democratic candidate for Congress Michael Arcuri released the following statement on the Republican resolution that supported a refusal to set a timetable an end to the Iraq War:Americans are looking for Congress to provide leadership in the war in Iraq. Unfortunately they are not getting it. This Republican Congress and my opponent says stay the course.I respectfully disagree. I say its s time for real change and a new direction. Today, Americans received the unfortunate news that the 2,500th American soldier has died in the War in Iraq. The American people need a real plan to bring the troops home. I say its time for real change and a new direction. This resolution does not improve the safety a single Humvee, does not provide a single additional soldier with body armor, and does not provide our troops with a real plan to win the war on terror. It is simply more divisive election year oratory. Ilink

When you come on here and show such animosity to the Democratic base in the name of promoting Mike Arcuri’s candidacy and then ask people to donate money to Arcuri, you shouldn’t be surprised that Arcuri’s online fundraising is so pathetically small.Democrats are not going to support Michael Arcuri just because he’s a Democrat.
link

Just how long can 24th District voters stay tuned for these Arcuri trading cards?

Afterwards I went back to Andy’s place to take a look at it since he recommended it as a possible place to rent for the summer since I was complaining about how hard it was to find something nice enough to meet my standards, but cheap enough to meet my budget for the summer.

Le Mans, France - Sports car racing’s next generation challenger in GT competition has been born. For the first time, Panoz is a winner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with a historic GT2 victory courtesy of Team LNT, a triumph to go along with a Panoz win at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. These are the two biggest sports car races in the world, said Team LNT owner and driver Lawrence Tomlinson. We are the European distributor for the Panoz brand, and this victory will help raise the awareness of the Panoz brand in Europe and around the world. Its big, its loud and its American. The Esperante GTLM definitely is here to stay.”In just the second race at Le Mans for the Esperante GTLM, the Braselton, Ga.-based manufacturer took the checkered flag ahead of such established marques as Porsche, Ferrari and Spyker. Team owner Lawrence Tomlinson, Richard Dean and Tom Kimber-Smith drove the No. 81 Team LNT Panoz Esperante to a one-lap victory at Le Mans.”The dream of winning here lives inside anyone who has entered Le Mans,” Don Panoz said. “The greatest manufacturers in the world - Porsche, Audi, BMW, Ferrari and countless others - have been victorious at Le Mans and as a result are part of history. I cant begin to describe how proud and satisfied I am to see the Panoz brand alongside these elite names. This is a day I will never forget and a week to be always remembered. To be awarded the Spirit of Le Mans and winning in the same week is more than could ever be dreamed of.Panoz has won at Le Mans and Sebring this year. Photo: Regis Lefebure Click here for Hi-Res The runner-up finish at Le Mans adds to the Esperante GTLM’s rapidly growing legacy. The exotic front-engine coupe was a winner at the prestigious Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, beating GT2 regulars Porsche, BMW, Ferrari and Spyker. It also won at last year’s Grand Prix of Atlanta in the American Le Mans Series and currently is second in the Series’ GT2 manufacturers championship.Even more special is that this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours marked the 10th year at least one Panoz entry has competed at La Sarthe. In addition, Dr. Panoz was the recipient of the Spirit of Le Mans award, given to key figures in sports car racing who spread the fame of the 24 Hours of Le Mans worldwide. On top of that, Dr. Panoz couldn’t have asked for a better Father’s Day present. Son Dan, President of Panoz Auto Development, watched the waning hours and minutes alongside him. Panoz’ family and friends cheered on not just the Team LNT entry, but also the No. 77 Panoz Esperante GTLM of Multimatic Motorsports Team Panoz, which won at Sebring.Multimatics efforts have played a pivotal role in the development of the Panoz Esperante and the Panoz brand,” Dan Panoz said. “This victory is cheered by everyone who has contributed to our program.”In just its second appearance at the famed 24 Hours, the Team LNT Panoz Esperante GTLM ran without a major problem throughout Saturday and Sunday. Tomlinson said he couldnt have dreamed for a better performance from the Esperante. That has been the standard for the Panoz in Europe this year. In two Le Mans Series events, the Panoz Esperante GTLM finished third at Istanbul and second at Spa.- From ALMS

-ne Like most of us who ride our mountain bikes on a regular basis, you probably have some local trails that you frequent because of their proximity to where you live or work. ride on the Blue Ridge Bicycle Club’s weekly ride menu. (www.blueridgebicycleclub.com) The group this week consisted of 9 riders, including myself. As with most trail systems, no matter how you mix it up, you still end up riding at least one or two of the same trails week after week. You become familiar with the creek crossings, the grunts and the downhills, the water bars, roots, rocks and the subject of this post: the dreaded logs across the trail. One such log in the last category exists on the trail formerly known as Fun House. If it had a build-up on both sides, I don’t think anyone would have trouble riding it. So, after a few minutes of gawking, I just lifted my bike over it and finished the ride. Had I permanently scarred the area of my brain that controls riding over logs by failing so many times? Then, we set out this Thursday and I didn’t want to ride up this trail. Everyone rode up to me, took the go-around and disappeared up the trail.

So it was good to see that City took control of the match with Ireland and Antoine Sibierski pulling all the strings in midfield.City should have taken the lead in the fourth minute when Sibierski played a neat ball over the top for Lee Croft to chase onto, he centred his cross well from the left, but Wright-Phillips made a mess of his finish and the ball was easily gathered.City took the lead on eighteen minutes when Ireland picked up the ball in midfield and drove forward and played the ball over the top to allow Wright-Phillips to beat the off-side trap and run of the left and deliver a cross to the box where Ireland had continued his run and finished into the top corner with a fine right foot volley.Three minutes later City doubled their lead when Sibierski played a lovely weighted ball for Fowler to run onto and again beat the off-side trap and Robbie did as he has done many a time throughout his career in that he has fooled the keeper into thinking he his going to shoot when in fact he plays a deft chip over the despairing keeper and bounces into the net.Robbie nearly doubled his tally near the half hour mark when a Wright-Phillips run and cross was met by Robbie but Wigan’s keeper, Floyd Croll was able to save well to his left and produced City’s first corner of the match.Five minutes later Lee Croft saw a great solo effort when he beat three defenders to edge his way into the box, but Croll pulled of a fine save to deny Lee and the ball went for another corner. Then the referee allowed Wigan back into the game when Yasser Hussain was adjudged to have brought down Wigan’s Joe Waterhouse in the area after the referee had failed to stop play for a foul on Sibierski.

Array It seems that the little room in EXIT has extended physical space in four-folds: the physical space of a room as a room for interrogation, the physio-mental space of the lady in the room, the physio-mental space of the interrogator, and the space of the lady with the camera and her soundman. Space seems to expand within the echoes of the mind without physical extensions. This paper was presented at the Film Forum of Kuala Lumpur jointly sponsored by the Forum Film of Kuala Lumpur and Perbadanan Kemajuan Filem Nasional, at FINAS on the 30 January 2002.The camera seems to absorb physical space on an extended mental display of words and meanings of words.

I enjoyed the process of it but I hated the grueling hours that I had to endure where I worked my regular job from 8.30am to 6pm and I shot ECHOES from 7pm to 7am the next morning and continued this for 6 days. Kylie Chan, my art director, Clarice Wong, my co-producer, Hor Suet Ling, my production manager and Jennifer Liew, my wife, the writer of ECHOES are my saviours. Why did it take this long for my next project?

All from the outside due to the paucity of time. The lunch on 25th was a party thrown by my P-i-Ls for their friends in Jaipur since Pista was in town (mine was a surprise visit and thus I was, officially, gatecrashing) but the funny thing was how almost everyone there took it to be a party for our engagement. So Pista was showered with gifts that people typically reserve as wedding/anniversary gifts- tea sets, coffee mugs, dining sets and the likes. Made us realize that we ought to stop everyone from giving any further gifts of this sort (how many dining sets can you live with at a time?) which led to us deciding (semi-jokingly) to have the following line on our wedding invitation: No gifts please …
